Slam Out Loud
Slam Out Loud is a non-profit organisation that leverages arts to empower children in developing confidence and essential skills. Slam Out Loud ignites voices through art, empowering children with storytelling and performance to express themselves boldly. Slam Out Loud uses performance and visual arts to help build life skills in children from disadvantaged communities. They define Creative Confidence as a combination of six skills including Creativity, Communication, Critical Thinking, Collaboration, Self-Esteem and Empathy.
Objective
The objective of Slam Out Loud is to build life skills like communication, critical thinking and empathy in children from disadvantaged communities.
Outcome
Increased self-esteem, confidence, and social-emotional skills among children from disadvantaged communities, as evidenced by improved academic performance, reduced behavioral issues, and increased participation in school and community activities.
