How do I apply for admission to Ashoka Shishu Vihara?

To apply for admission, please visit our school website and complete the online application form. Ensure you provide all required documentation.

What are the admission requirements?

Applicants are not evaluated based on academic records or an admissions interview. A Transfer Certificate (TC), and a few official documents will be required.

Are books and uniforms included in the school fees?

No, the school fees do not cover the cost of books and uniforms. These items must be purchased separately at an additional cost. We recommend purchasing books and uniforms from a reputed vendor, which the school will suggest. This ensures quality and uniformity among students. Detailed information about the recommended vendor and purchasing process will be provided to all enrolled students prior to the start of the academic year.

Does the school fees cover miscellaneous expenses such as costumes for the annual day, event photographs, trip fees, art and craft fees, etc.?

No, the school fees do not include miscellaneous expenses such as dance costumes, event photographs, trip fees, art and craft fees, etc. While we strive to minimise additional financial burdens on parents throughout the academic year, there are certain expenses that may arise for specific events or activities. We aim to provide advance notice of any such expenses and ensure they are kept reasonable. Our goal is to maintain transparency and support parents in planning for these occasional expenses.

Does the school accept donations when enrolling students?

Absolutely not! We do not solicit or accept donations as part of the enrollment process. We firmly believe that financial contributions should not be a prerequisite for admission to our school.

Can parents make voluntary donations to support the school's growth?

Yes, while we do not require or expect donations from parents during enrollment, we welcome voluntary contributions from those who are willing and able to support the school's mission and initiatives. However, please note that donations are entirely optional, and no one will be pressured or discriminated against based on their decision to donate or not. We value inclusivity and respect the choices of all members of our school community.

Is financial aid/scholarships available?

Yes, financial aid/scholarships is available to eligible students based on demonstrated need. We are committed to making our education accessible to all students regardless of their financial circumstances.

Is there a sibling discount for admission fees?

Yes, we offer a sibling discount for families with multiple children. This discount reflects our commitment to supporting families and making quality education more accessible.

What is the student-teacher ratio?

Our commitment to personalised learning is reflected in our low student-teacher ratio, which allows for individualised attention and support. By maintaining small class sizes, we create an engaging and collaborative learning environment where students can thrive academically and socially.
